Pumpkin Patch....

We went a little crazy on photos at the Pumpkin Patch. Since we are bad about updating this at times. i thought it was better to splurge. that way people can't say there aren't any new pictures. Now there's enough for at least 3 days.... ;)

Kyson was constipated on bananas, and he hadn't pooped in 3 days, so we decided to give him some applesauce to loosen things up.  I only had unsweetened applesauce, and he HATED the taste, but in the end it did the job.  About an hour later...he had a blowout (click on the image to see an enlarged version).

friends from college

Had some old friends from college drop by over the weekend (Mike & Melissa). I haven't seen them since our wedding. They recently moved back from Florida to Idaho, and then their off to Vegas. It was good catching up with old friends.

Kyson's Baby Blessing

Our ward only allows baby blessings to be on the fast sunday of every month. My parents were in town on a Sunday that wasn't fast Sunday, so Stephen ended up blessing him at our house. We had about 25 friends and family show up, and Kyson got to show off his ninja outfit. Stephen gave a spiritual blessing and we enjoyed spending time with everyone.

Kyson loves jumping in his saucer. He's 4 1/2 months here and at his recent checkup he is in the 75% for height and weight and he weighs over 17 pounds!

It only took three months after Kyson being born for Stephen to take some photos of him. There are quite a few more, so we'll try to get them up as soon as he gets them done.

The Sumo Wrestler

I took Kyson to the Pediatrician this week and at 9 weeks old he weighed 14 pounds and 8 oz., and he was 24.5 inches long. He is in the 95% for his weight, the 90% for his height and the 50-75% for his head circumference. The doctor was looking at me puzzled and asked how tall I was and how tall his dad was. She still had a puzzled look after I told her 5'2 and 5'9. She then proceeded to ask if we had big babies in our family. When I told her no, she just said "well I guess some babies are just big".
